GET INVOLVED

The Akan Assembly is a young and dynamic assembly under COP Vancouver District which conducts its service in the Ghanaian Akan dialect. Right from the beginning of service, all the way through worship and finally to receiving the benediction, our Spirit-filled sessions stirs up a deep desire to fellowship with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Our mission and drive is to reconnect people to God, the source of life (Colossians 3:4), and we do so by expressing His love for us and sharing fellowship beautifully in the Akan dialect.

Our vision is to become a mighty foreign language (indigenous Ghanaian) church in Vancouver and Canada. We aim to reach out to all in Vancouver and Greater Vancouver (Surrey, Delta, Burnaby etc.) areas. Are you visiting a friend or passing through town? Or perhaps you are interested in learning an indigenous Ghanaian language? Then you are ever welcomed to visit or join us on Sundays from 11:30 to 13:30 PST. Come let’s fellowship in love and commune with our Gracious Father. Nyame nhyira wo! (God bless you!)
